Ultreya y Suseya
2014 Personal Exhibit
During the summer of 2014, Sara decides to travel to the North of Spain to brave the Santiago de Compostela’s pilgrimage (Camino de Santiago). A pilgrimage made of sea, wind and inspiration, that went on for more than a month, at the end of which the kilometers walked were more than 860.
The journey started at Irùn and ended at Finisterre and it marked a moment of great growth for Sara, both in her personal life and in her art.
Because of this experience soon after she came back to her hometown (Siena) Sara decides to inaugurate another individual exposition, “Ultreya y Suseya”. All the paintings here exposed were entirely dedicated to the Camino de Santiago.
The expo’s name “Ultreya y Suseya”, comes from the pilgrims expression “let’s go further and higher”.
